This was the third year that I had attended the Blackpool magic convention.  Joining over 4000 magicians & hobbyist magicians from around the world to watch Magic shows, attend lectures by some of the worlds biggest names in magic to wander around the dealers stands in the Winter Gardens Then of course, there is the socialising around the bars in the evening, especially the Ruskin Hotel. One Hobbyist I was introduced to who spent just over £8000 was asked by a fellow colleague asked him what was the best trick he had bought or that he had seen at the convention and he said the trick that your friend Darren has just showed me a few minutes ago. This was a card illusion in my own presentation using a normal deck of cards and completely fluence him as it has many other spectators and magicians. So after an £8000 spend the best thing he's seen at the convention was a trick that I had performed to him in the bar. Wow, I was completely blown away. Hopefully you will get to see this trick too at your event – I name it the world's best card trick.
