Darren's Blog

2016 so far.

Had a great year so far and a busy Christmas ahead. In the middle of summer I took time out and did a coast to coast cycle ride to raise money for MacMillan 77 miles the first day and 98 miles the day after. Enjoyed it too although I had to draw from my magical powers towards the end. Thank you to all those who donate. Regards Darren. X

Whalley Abbey.

Congratulations on the Christening of Willow. Thank you for inviting me to entertain for her Christening celebration. You were all a wonderful crowd especially Willows Grandad Lee who really warmed to me and became a believer of true Magic and a touch emotional at the personal touch I put into one of my illusions I taylored especially for his granddaughter Willow.

Rowton Castle Nr Shrewsbury

Colin and Sharleen Yorke saw me perform 2 and a half hours away near Blackburn and booked me for their wedding. At this stunning and enchanting castle the rooms were complimented by the heart felt sounds of solo guitarist Paul Martin which really enhanced the romantic ambience of this wonderful wedding. I heard a few compliments passed amongst the guests of how the Paul music made the day. If you would like to read up on Paul or to hire him click this link. http://www.weddingguitaristuk.com

Bowdon Rugby Tour

I was delighted to return to the Dunkenhalgh Hotel to entertain for the rugby players and followers after a long day of fixtures in Preston. They were a great crowd and loved my magic. This is a great venue for weddings, celebrations, weekends away, an evening or afternoon meal, spar treatments, gym and has a swimming pool. Paul Daniels

I was saddened to hear tonight after returning from my magic gig that Paul Daniels has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. I'm sure he was most people's favourite magical entertainer from around the 80's. I loved watching his magic show with my parents, brother and sister on Saturday nights. I got great inspiration from watching his amazing shows and never dreamed back then that I too one day would gradually be blessed with the sacred power of magic. Lots of love to Paul, Debbie Mcgee and family. From Darren your favourite North West Magician X
